In the Vais and Ramin poems, there is a link between love and life, and it is a motivation to stay alive and being fresh. In the mentioned poems, love turned a depressed girl, who wished to commit suicide, to an active and fighter woman, and also turned a playful and aimless boy to a wise king who spread justice. Gorgani made this lyrical theme believable through his proficiency and skill in illustration. This paper reviewed the image of the lovers’ body in the Vais and Ramin poems by Fakhruddin As'ad Gorgani. Our findings showed that the image of face, hair, eyes and stature had the most applications, though Gorgani also made use of the manifestation of eyebrows, chin, lips, teeth, mouth and etc. in his poems. Iranians’ taste prefers some specific features for each of the beloved’s organs, and this issue has been provided as a general rule in the ancient Persian poetry, and it was followed by Gorgani to illustrate the lovers’ organs. Therefore, a qualitative and analytical review was conducted on the literatures which described the body of beloveds. In sum, based on the image of organs of the beloveds in the Vais and Ramin poem, it can be perceived that at the era of Gorgani, the beloveds were slim, and had twisted and fragrant hair, white face with a black mole, delicate waist, and henna nail and so on.
