Color is a phenomenon that began with the creation of humans. Imagining a colorless world
seems strange to humans. Psychologists believe that by choosing and frequency of color, one
can receive intellectual, emotional, social, political tendencies. Through the frequency of colors
in literary works, one can understand to some extent the inner personality, emotions, moods,
and a kind of worldview of poets or writers. Sari is one of those who have used the element of
color in his fiction so much that his novels are festivals of different colors. This study describes
and analyzes the frequency of colors in the six novels of this contemporary author, which have
not been done before, using the library method. First, the abundance of colors is confronted
with the adventures, psychological performance of the characters, and the content of each novel,
and then the highest color frequency is extracted throughout the novels and compared with
the prevailing tendencies, thoughts, and worldviews of the stories. The results showed that the
use of specific colors is closely related to the content of each novel. In general, the stories are
the highest frequency of black color, which with the fate of women in patriarchal societies and
the display of their problems, depression, sadness and grief in these periods has a more or less
psychological reading.
