Folk stories are applied with a long history, carrying valuable points. As a result, it is necessary
to study these texts from different angles. Two of these works are the story of Hamzeh nameh
and Hossein Kord shabestari, which was written at the time of the pages. In these texts, verses
have been used that have been compared with each other. The research method in this article is
descriptive-analytical. In the introduction and text of Hamze nameh, 120 verses are used, many
of which have been repeated, but in the text of Hossein Kord, 40 verses are used. The poems
in these books are divided into themes of praise, admonition, social, epic, romantic, prayer
and descriptive. Some of the similarities between these two works are: being religious, being
epic, being slang, etc. These two stories have been narrated orally for a long time. The author
of both works is also unknown. Differences between the two works: Hamzeh nameh is more
voluminous and has more original and ancient Persian words, but in the story of Hossein Kurd,
Turkish words are used more slang and newer, Hamzeh nameh is also older. There are many
repetitions of verses in two books, but there are many more repetitions in Hamzah nameh. Many
of the contents of Hamzah nameh are out of date, but the historical and geographical contents
of Hussein Kurd are closer to the truth. Some of the poems used in these two texts are from
Ferdowsi, Nezami, etc. The similarities and differences between the two books with examples,
tables, statistics and percentages are shown below.
