Choobak is a writer who has chosen the origin, title, and narration characters from among the
oppressed, laymen, poor, and vulnerable classes of the people. They are exposed to different
types of social harms due to the bad social conditions and difficulties in affording their lives.
Meanwhile, the character selection of Choobak is along with a miniature regard of the details.
Thus, he has tried to indirectly describe the characters through facial and bodily features and
therefore, his typology completely accords with body fractures and the representation of social
harms in face and body characteristics of the characters regarding the naturalistic outlook of
Choobak. To investigate about such a claim, the present research has dealt with the character
called: “Mohammad”, the major character in the novel called: “Tangsir” written by Choobak.
The results showed that Choobak has greatly utilized body problems in describing the face and
body of “Mohammad” in developing this character. He has introduced “Mohammad” as a fat,
furious, and a gigantic monster to inspire the readers to believe him using a weapon and murder
someone using the gun.
