The researchers of this research have analyzed one of the most famous and interesting stories
of "Attar Neishaburi", a mystic and poet of the 6th century Hijri, considering Jacobsen's
communication theory. "Communication" for Roman Jacobsen (1982-1896), a Russian linguist
and theoretician, is the main force shaping the form and location of linguistic events, which,
in addition to determining its composition, also determines its various functions. Based on
this, every text has virtual patterns of communication, and the structure of these patterns is
identified in six elements: sender, receiver, subject, contact, message, and identity codes.
The intensity and weakness of these connections and their ups and downs determine the function
and form of the text; That is, the role and function of the text is determined according to which
element the center of communication is focused on. The result of the research shows that the
linguistic relationship of this story is focused on the receiver element with persuasive function.
