Hamid Mossadegh is one of the most prominent poets of the contemporary period whose poems
can be included in the form of committed literature. Using the language of poetry and with a
correct understanding of social conditions and collective aspirations, he has tried to express the
problems and issues of Iranian society in a simple, symbolic, epic and at the same time mythical
language, especially in the pre-revolutionary period. Islamic Iran. This research has been written
in a descriptive-analytical and library method with the aim of formative critique of Hamid
Mossadegh's poems. This method of critique is Goldman's special method in the sociology of
literature, also known as literary sociology. The basis of this method is first examined the poet's
worldview; Then, the characteristics and stylistic elements of Mossadegh's poetry at three levels
of language, thought and literature in parallel with the political, social, economic and cultural
issues of the poet's society are examined and the relationship of each of them with what in that
society as political, social and economic issues. And culturally visible. Explained, in some cases
the issues have been clear and obvious, and only how they affect Mossadegh's poetry has been
identified; . The result of this research shows that Mossadegh has paid much attention to the
social and cultural issues of his society.
