“Fotovvat-name”s are very important in political, social, moral, mystical and literary researches
on the topic of fotovvat and its history and its all-round effects on Islamic societies. In this
research, process analysis has been used in order to analyze the text of Najmuddin Zarkoub's
Fotovvat- Namah and discover the mechanisms between the author's mind and language and the
socio-cultural context of the text, as well as the analysis of the intellectual components hidden in
it. To conduct this research, a combined method (descriptive-statistical-comparative analysis) was
used and these results were obtained: From the analysis of the types of processes in this text, we
found that the frequency of mental processes (and its types) and the high frequency of relational
processes and existential processes in this text indicate the predominance of explanatory and
proof actions in the author's discourse, which explains goals such as legalizing the institution of
Fotovvat, attributing the background of Fotovvat to the prophets, establishing ethical standards
for the different positions and relationships of the people of Fotovvat, and the duties of each one.
. The significant frequency of the mentioned processes causes the reduction of communicative
and interactive discourse actions in the text and is a factor for strengthening the monophonic
discourse meanings and the value/ideological aspects in the experimental structures (legislative,
legitimizing, and affirmative and explanatory actions) of the text.
