چکیده مقاله

The basic issue of this research is to investigate the story of Khosrow and Shirin Nizami based on Seligman's theory of positive thinking, in a descriptive-analytical way. The actions and behavior of each of the characters of this system and the concepts included in the poems have been matched with the virtues and indicators of positive thinking mentioned in the mentioned theory, and after analyzing the results, the obtained data has been presented in the form of a graph. Nizami has paid special attention to the development of good human virtues and the spiritual and psychological excellence of the characters in his novel in characterizing the characters of Khosrow and Shirin's story with his wise perspective. The results of this research show that the characters of this poem are decorated with the six virtues mentioned in Seligman's theory of positive thinking, and the verses of the narrator of these virtues have a high frequency in this work. Wise love, humanity and kindness towards fellow human beings, courage in the loyalty of the lover and the beloved towards each other, the exaltation of this pure love, the existence of fair dealings and maintaining moderation in the thoughts, actions and behavior of Khosrow and Shirin, who are the main characters of this system. A significant amount is evident. It is worth mentioning that having these virtues is also true for other people in the system.
