چکیده مقاله

The story is the character in action. As the characters become more consistent, new signs of their characteristics are revealed, and this causes reactions from them to each other that are completely different from what was previously in the mind; Therefore, personality is the result of two impulses: individualization impulse and type impulse. Sadegh Chubak, who is one of the founders of modern Iranian fiction writing, deals with the characters of Tangsir novel in various ways such as: presenting believable characters, using few names in the opening chapter, people with unclear motivation, character description, giving information through secondary characters, expressing the character's psychological background. , brief and useful characterization, random characters, intermediary characters, permanent character traits, etc. have been used. The aim of the research is to emphasize characterisation, as one of the important elements of the story, to analyze the construction and treatment of the character in Tangsir's novel based on a prominent and well-known scientific theory, that is, based on Leonard Bishop's point of view, in order to analyze the role of this element in its development and impact. Validate the story. The research method is descriptive-analytical and in a library style. The findings of the research show that a significant number of components of this theory are present in Tangsir's novel, the most frequent of which is the presentation of believable characters, the use of few names in the opening chapter of the novel, and character description.
